Claire's commissions include writing music for "Connor's Story" - community theatre performed at the Belfast Festival; "Dancing with Dilemmas" - a dance project for Prestwich Hospital; "City of Dreams" - a BBC Radio 4 play with MIND Arts Project, Stockport; "Lighting the Legend" - a fusion of dance, visual art and pyrotechnics for public performance in Salford; "Retreat" - a physical theatre production for the inaugural opening of the Longfield Project in Bury, Greater Manchester and the music score for "Garden of Delight" at the Manchester International Arts Festival. In 2010 Claire recorded the audio stories for the Emmeline Pankhurst photo-mosaic "Women Like You", by Charlotte Newson, for an exhibtion at Manchester City Art Gallery.

She has acted as Associate Musical Director for Oldham Theatre Workshop and Musical Director for "Distant Voices - the mill's tale", Skidby Mill in Yorkshire.

Commissioned songs include, "Hitting Home", "Dangerous Days", "Zero Tolerance", "Ordinary Rebel", "When", "Hill and Back", "Hope Always Lasts" - written for a variety of commissioning bodies, including Salford City Council, Littoral Arts, Nye Bevan Centenary Celebrations (Arts for Labour) and many more.

She is a regular contirbutor on BBC Radio, has been featured on BBC Radio 4's "Woman's Hour" and has been filmed by the BBC and Granada Television. Claire has featured in her own special broadcast on Manchester's Channel M Television. Since 2009 she's entertained listeners of the BBC North West's "Late Show" with her original, topical songs and has co-presented Citizen Manchester's LGBT programme for BBC Radio.
